യേശു ഉത്തരവാദി

എബ്രാ. 7:22 "ആണ കൂടാതെയല്ല എന്നതിന്നു ഒത്തവണ്ണം വിശേഷമേറിയ നിയമത്തിന്നു യേശു ഉത്തരവാദിയായി (Surety) തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു."

പുതിയ നിയമത്തിൽ വളരെ അപൂർവ്വമായി മാത്രം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പദമാണ് ഉത്തരവാദി (Surety) എന്ന വാക്ക്. യേശു നമുക്കുവേണ്ടി ഉത്തരവാദിയായി തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു, അഥവാ നമ്മുടെ ഉത്തരവാദിത്തം കർത്താവ് ഏറ്റെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. ഇത് ഒരു ചെറിയ കാര്യമല്ല, ജ്ഞാനികളിൽ ജ്ഞാനിയായ ശലോമോൻ തൻ്റെ പുസ്തകത്തിൽ നല്‍കിയിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ഉപദേശം ഇതിനോട് ചേര്‍ത്ത് വായിക്കേണ്ടതുണ്ട്; "മകനേ, കൂട്ടുകാരന്നു വേണ്ടി നീ ജാമ്യം (Surety) നിൽക്കയോ അന്യന്നു വേണ്ടി കയ്യടിക്കയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍, നിൻ്റെ വായിലെ വാക്കുകളാൽ നീ കുടുങ്ങിപ്പോയി; നിൻ്റെ വായിലെ മൊഴികളാൽ പിടിപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു." (സദൃശ്യ. 6:1.., 11:15, 22:26)

കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം രാജ്മോഹൻ പിള്ള എന്ന ബിസിനസ്സുകാരനുമായി ഒരു മീഡിയ നടത്തിയ അഭിമുഖം കാണുവാനിടയായി. അദ്ദേഹത്തിൻ്റെ ജ്യേഷ്ഠനായിരുന്ന രാജൻപിള്ളയുടെ ജീവിതത്തെക്കുറിച്ചും അവസാനം തീഹാർ ജയിലിൽവെച്ച് രാജന്‍പിള്ള എന്ന ബിസ്കറ്റ് രാജാവ് (ബ്രിട്ടാനിയ) മരിക്കുവാനിടയായ സാഹചര്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ചെല്ലാം പറഞ്ഞ കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ വളരെ ഹൃദയസ്പർശിയായിരുന്നു. 1995 ൽ തീഹാർ ജയിലിൽവെച്ച് തൻ്റെ 47 ാം വയസ്സിൽ ദുരൂഹസാഹചര്യത്തിൽ മരണപ്പെട്ട ശ്രീ. രാജൻപിള്ളയെക്കുറിച്ച് അക്കാലത്ത് പത്രത്തിൽ വായിച്ചത് ഞാനും ഓർക്കുവാനിടയായി.

പിന്നീട് അദ്ദേഹത്തിൻ്റെ സഹോദരൻ തൻ്റെ ജ്യേഷ്ഠൻ്റെ ഉത്തരവാദിത്തങ്ങൾ ഏറ്റെടുക്കുകയും; അക്കാലത്തെ 40 കോടി രൂപ കടം വീട്ടുവാൻ ഇറങ്ങിതിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്ത അനുഭവങ്ങളാണ് ശ്രീ. രാജ്മോഹൻപിള്ള ആ അഭിമുഖത്തിൽ പറഞ്ഞത്. ആ കടങ്ങൾ ഒന്നും ഏറ്റെടുക്കാതെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് അമേരിക്കയിൽപോയി സ്വസ്ഥമായി ജീവിക്കുവാനുള്ള എല്ലാ സാഹചര്യങ്ങളുണ്ടായിരുന്നിട്ടും, നിൻ്റെ ഉത്തരവാദിത്തങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് ഒളിച്ചോടരുത് എന്ന അമ്മയുടെ വാക്ക് ശിരസ്സാവഹിച്ച് നിശ്ചയദാർഢ്യത്തോടെ ഇറങ്ങിത്തിരിച്ച ഡോ. രാജ്മോഹൻപിള്ള കഠിനാദ്ധ്വാനത്തിലൂടെ ആ കടങ്ങള്‍ ഒന്നൊന്നായി വീട്ടി. ജ്യേഷ്ഠനെപ്പോലെ അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു ബിസിനസ്സുകാരനായി വളർന്നു. ക്ഷമയുടെയും സഹനത്തിൻ്റെയും ത്യാഗത്തിൻ്റെയും ഫലമായി ജീവിതവിജയം കൈവരിച്ചവരെല്ലാം ഭീരുക്കളെപ്പോലെ തങ്ങുടെ ഉത്തരവാദിത്തങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് ഓടിഒളിച്ചവരല്ല, സധൈര്യം ഉറച്ചുനിന്നവരാണ്.

ഉത്തരവാദിത്തങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് ഓടിപ്പോയ മോവാബ്യ സ്ത്രീ ഒർപ്പ ചരിത്രത്തിൻ്റെ ചവറ്റുകൊട്ടയിൽ കിടക്കുമ്പോൾ, ഒരു ഭാര്യയുടെയും, മരുമകളുടെയും, ഉത്തരവാദിത്വത്തിൽ വിശ്വസ്തയായി നിന്ന് യിസ്രായേലിൻ്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയിലുള്ള വിശ്വാസം മുറുകെ പിടിച്ച് തൻ്റെ അമ്മാവിയമ്മയായ നൊവൊമിയോടൊപ്പം ബേത്ത്ലേഹെമിലേക്ക് പുറപ്പെട്ട രൂത്തിൻ്റെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ പിന്നീട് സംഭവിച്ചത് എന്തെല്ലാമാണ് എന്ന് നമുക്കറിയാമല്ലോ. യേശു ക്രിസ്തുവിൻ്റെ വംശാവലി പട്ടികയിൽവരെ പേരുഴുതപ്പെടുവാനുള്ള ഭാഗ്യം രൂത്തിനുണ്ടായി (മത്തായി 1:5). സ്തോത്രം !

യോദ്ധാക്കളും അഭ്യാസികളുമായ തൻ്റെ സഹോദരങ്ങളും, പരിചയ സമ്പന്നരായ യിസ്രായേൽ സൈനികരും ഫിലിസ്ത്യ മല്ലനായ ഗൊല്യാത്തിനെകണ്ട് ഭയത്തോടെ മാറി നിന്നപ്പോൾ, തന്‍റെ ജനത്തെ ശത്രുക്കളിൽ നിന്ന് രക്ഷിക്കാനുള്ള ഉത്തരവാദിത്തം സ്വയം ഏറ്റെടുത്ത് മുന്നോട്ടുവന്ന ദാവീദിനെയാണ് നമ്മൾ കാണുന്നത്. തൻ്റെ പ്രായമോ പരിചയമില്ലായ്മയോ, ഗൊല്യാത്തിൻ്റെ രൂപമോ വലിപ്പമോ ഗർജ്ജനോ ഒന്നും ദിവീദിനെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തിയില്ല. യിസ്രായേലിൻ്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നവനെ പാഠം പഠിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടത് തൻ്റെ ഉത്തരവാദിത്തമായി അവൻ ഏറ്റെടുത്തു. ഉത്തരവാദിത്തം എടുത്തവൻ്റെ കൂടെ സ്വര്‍ഗ്ഗം നിന്നു. അജയ്യനായ ഗൊല്യാത്ത് ദാവീദ് എന്ന ബാലൻ്റെ മുമ്പിൽ വീണു (ദൈവം വീഴ്ത്തി).

ഇതുപോലെ നിരവധി വിശ്വാസ വീരന്മാരായ ഭക്തരുടെ ജീവിതം വേദപുസ്തകത്തിൽ കാണുവാൻ സാധിക്കും, അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ഉത്തരവാദിത്തത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ഒഴിഞ്ഞുമാറാതെ, ഓടിഒളിക്കാതെ, അതിൽ വിശ്വസ്തരായി നിന്നപ്പോൾ അത്ഭുതങ്ങൾ സംഭവിച്ചു. ശത്രുവിൻ്റെ കോട്ടകൾ തകർന്നു‍.

ദൈവപുത്രനും നമ്മുടെ രക്ഷിതാവും കര്‍ത്താവുമായ യേശു ക്രിസ്തു നമ്മുടെ ഉത്തരവാദിത്തം ഏറ്റെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നാണ് തിരുവചനത്തിൽ നമ്മൾ വായിച്ചത് (എബ്രാ. 7:22).

നമ്മെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള ഉത്തരവാദിത്തം:

മത്തായി 11:28 "അദ്ധ്വാനിക്കുന്നവരും ഭാരം ചുമക്കുന്നവരും ആയുള്ളോരേ, എല്ലാവരും എൻ്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുവിൻ; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കും"

നമുക്ക് തുണയായിരിക്കുമെന്നുള്ള ഉത്തരവാദിത്തം;

എബ്രായ. 13:6 "ആകയാൽ "കര്‍ത്താവു എനിക്കു തുണ; ഞാന്‍ പേടിക്കയില്ല; മനുഷ്യന്‍ എന്നോടു എന്തു ചെയ്യും" എന്നു നമുക്കു ധൈര്യത്തോടെ പറയാം."

നമ്മെ കരുതിക്കൊള്ളാമെന്ന ഉത്തരവാദിത്തം:

1 പത്രൊസ് 5:7 "അവൻ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കായി കരുതുന്നതാകയാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ സകല ചിന്താകുലവും അവന്‍റെ മേൽ ഇട്ടുകൊൾവിൻ "

എല്ലാ നാളും നമ്മുടെ കൂടെ ഉണ്ടാകുമെന്ന ഉത്തരവാദിത്തം;

മത്തായി 28:20 "ഞാനോ ലോകാവസാനത്തോളം എല്ലാനാളും നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടുڈ എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു."

നമ്മെ ഒരുനാളും ഉപേക്ഷിക്കില്ല എന്ന ഉത്തരവാദിത്തം;

എബ്രായ. 13:5 "ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ഒരുനാളും കൈ വിടുകയില്ല, ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയുമില്ലڈ എന്നു അവൻ തന്നെ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ."

നമ്മുടെ അടുക്കല്‍ വന്ന് സൗഖ്യമാക്കുമെന്ന ഉത്തരവാദിത്തം

മത്തായി 8:7 ".. "ഞാൻ വന്നു അവനെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു."

കര്‍ത്താവിൻ്റെ മക്കളെക്കുറിച്ച് അവിടുന്ന് ഏറ്റെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ഉത്തരവാദിത്തങ്ങളിൽ ചിലത് മാത്രം ഞാൻ ഓര്‍മ്മിപ്പിച്ചു എന്നു മാത്രം. ഈ ഉത്തരവാദിത്തങ്ങളിൽ അവിടുന്ന് എത്രമാത്രം വിശ്വസ്തനാണ് എന്ന് പറയേണ്ടതില്ലല്ലോ ! (മത്തായി 24:35 ആകാശവും ഭൂമിയും ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോകും; എൻ്റെ വചനങ്ങളോ ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോകയില്ല).

വചനംതന്ന (വാക്കുതന്ന) കർത്താവിൽ നമുക്കുപൂർണ്ണമായി വിശ്വസിക്കാം.

Hebrews 7:22 "Accordingly, Jesus has become the Surety of a better covenant."

The word "Suverty" is used only very rarely in the New Testament. Jesus has become our guarantor; that is, the Lord has taken responsibility on our behalf. This is no small matter.

To understand this more clearly, we should read it alongside the counsel given by Solomon, the wisest of men:

"My son, if you have become surety for your neighbor, if you have struck hands in pledge for a stranger, you are trapped by what you said, ensnared by the words of your mouth." (Proverbs 6:1; see also 11:15; 22:26)

The other day, I happened to watch a media interview with businessman Dr. Rajmohan Pillai. His account of the life of his elder brother, Rajan Pillai, and the circumstances that led to the death of the "Biscuit King" (Britannia) in Tihar Jail was deeply moving. I too remembered reading in the newspapers at that time about the mysterious death of Shri Rajan Pillai at the age of 47 in Tihar Jail in 1995.

Later, his younger brother took upon himself the responsibility of settling his elder brother's affairs, including repaying debts amounting to ₹40 crore. Mr. Rajmohan Pillai shared this experience during the interview. Although he had every opportunity to leave for America and live comfortably without assuming those liabilities, he chose instead to obey his mother's words: "Do not run away from your responsibilities."

With determination and perseverance, Dr. Rajmohan Pillai worked tirelessly and repaid those debts one by one. He eventually became a successful businessman in his own right. Those who achieve success through patience, endurance, and sacrifice are not people who flee from their responsibilities like cowards; they are those who stand firm with courage.

While Orpah, the Moabite woman who turned back from her responsibility, faded into the background of history, Ruth faithfully fulfilled her responsibilities as a wife and daughter-in-law. Holding firmly to her faith in the Lord, the God of Israel, she accompanied her mother-in-law Naomi to Bethlehem. We all know what happened afterward. Ruth was honored with a place in the genealogy of Jesus Christ Himself (Matthew 1:5). Praise the Lord!

Likewise, when David's warrior brothers and the experienced soldiers of Israel stood back in fear before the Philistine giant Goliath, David voluntarily accepted the responsibility of delivering his people from their enemy. His youth, lack of experience, Goliath's enormous size, or his terrifying threats did not intimidate him. David considered it his responsibility to confront the one who defied the Lord, the God of Israel. Heaven stood with the one who accepted responsibility. The seemingly invincible Goliath fell before the young shepherd David—God Himself brought him down.

Throughout Scripture, we see many heroes of faith whose lives testify to this truth. Because they did not shrink from their responsibilities or run away from them, but remained faithful, miracles took place and the enemy's strongholds were destroyed.

The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, our Savior and Lord, has taken responsibility for us (Hebrews 7:22).

His responsibility to comfort us:

Matthew 11:28

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

His responsibility to be our helper:

Hebrews 13:6

"The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"

His responsibility to care for us:

1 Peter 5:7

"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you."

His responsibility to be with us always:

Matthew 28:20

"...And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

His responsibility never to forsake us:

Hebrews 13:5

"I will never leave you nor forsake you."

His responsibility to come and heal us:

Matthew 8:7

"I will come and heal him."

These are only a few of the responsibilities the Lord has willingly taken upon Himself for His children. There is no need to explain how perfectly faithful He is in fulfilling them.

Matthew 24:35 "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away."

Therefore, we can place our complete trust in the Lord who keeps His word.
